Kicking the blog off again thanks to a cupcake from epicute, via we heart it, that was so amazing I couldn't not post it.

again, I am ALL about color. so really, this just made me warm and fuzzy inside (partial pun intended)
Its like a Sassafras mini explosion! I love the use of white space (black space, rather) and the layered flowers. Its like what is so great about patterned paper without the overwhelmingness of it. And what is also so wonderful, is that this probably took about a half hour to make.

I almost want to have a small child just so I can present these at their 4th birthday party.
almost.
What I like about this page from Dina is how much the creation of the page reflects the photograph. Her pages usually involve some sort of paint or glitter mist and its just so messy and so disheveled, but so clean and organized at the same time. The sketch is simple, but I feel like so much would get lost in a scraplift. Its pages like this were you can really see the artist behind the page come through.
